Illusions in Ink
Mikayla Hammock is an Arizona-based artist who works in pen and ink using the stippling technique. Her work features a “drawing within a drawing” style, where small illustrative scenes come together to form a larger subject. Focusing on animals, plants, and insects, her detailed compositions tell the stories of their subjects and invite viewers to look closely and discover layered narratives within each piece.
